I called today to get information about my Aunt who is in very poor health and was admitted again after a week long hospital stay recently here. I spoke with a nurse named Kelly on the 4th floor of Lacks. She was rude, cold, not empathetic and quite frankly insensitive. I'm listed on my Aunts call list for information. Had surgery on Feb 10th. This was my first surgery ever. Ellen in the surgery prep room was amazing. Her positive attitude and vibes was the best. She made me feel comfortable. Even the staff in the fourth floor were amazing. They all made this experience not as bad as I thought it would be. Everyone I come in contact there was super helpful knowledgeable and friendly. Wanna thank them all for helping me through this.

Community of Grand Rapids, Michigan this hospital is purely not organized, not professional, and not all staff that we encounter with my love ones experience was an issue, but it was more nasty attitudes on the labor and delivery floor, than I’ve ever witnessed in my lifetime at hospital. Had the best experience at Trinity Health Hospital. The staff were knowledgeable and compassionate. A clean environment. I did not feel like a number walking through the door, but a person with a name with a medical issue. Best care I have received in Grand Rapids

Saturday night, my fistula clotted. This is the access I rely on for life-sustaining dialysis. My care team has been very clear. If this happens on a weekend, go straight to the ER. Tell them exactly what is happening. Interventional radiology should be called immediately. If a fistula is left clotted for 24 hours or more, you are very likely to lose it.
