I've never had a single problem with any staff here. They are beyond receptive and professional to any of my problems and are always on the ball to get things done for me. I genuinely feel valued, safe and respected with the staff at this Trinity Health location. I was wanting to move to Grand Rapids, but I love my care here so much that it is the only thing tethering me to my current residence. This place was a nightmare. I will be reaching out to the program director regarding the unprofessionalism displayed here. The occupational, speech, and physical therapy departments are a mess - appointments are not scheduled, referrals are incorrect, and resident doctors substitute real doctors. The lack of care for patients is concerning. My therapy needs have not been met, and I feel like my health is at risk. I will make sure the appropriate authorities are aware of the situation.
The staff made me feel very uncomfortable. I had to schedule a check up appointment for a month out and when I did go In for my appointment I let them know that I had just found out I was pregnant (10 weeks). While waiting to be examined I heard the nurses in the lobby talking about me saying “she hasn’t been bleeding since July and she’s just now noticing “ along with other things. I just got up and left due to feeling so out of place. Very unprofessional and was very insensitive.
I was told they accepted my insurance and after a few visits I received a bill for $1,200+. When I called they said that they hadn’t accepted my insurance in over a year yet their staff failed to tell me this when booking all my appointments. This was very disappointing because from the get go of my first appointment I confirmed with staff that they accepted my insurance and never once did they mention that I was out of network.
The nurses take forever to check on the patients.
