I received chemo therapy over a 4mo period and the welcome and kindness impressed me, especially compared to UM, which, although a great research hospital, is clinical, oversized and impersonal toward patients (among whom I have had family members). The PA and nurses were all warm and professional. It was only a few patients who seemed to have difficult attitudes

My elderly mother has been receiving ongoing care from Dr Dib at Chelsea Hematology for several years. She has received very good medical care. The reception staff and nurses are kind and welcoming. The setting is beautiful, and the location is easy and hassle free.

There is no uniform masking policy for this vulnerable cancer patient population. Also, the facility is not as clean as it should be, on three occasions ( twice on August 22, 2024 and once on August 29, 2024) I encountered other patient’s hazardous bloody body fluids spit all over the sink and faucets. When I took my safety concerns to the administration of Hematology and Oncology I was told there was nothing she could do unless I knew who the responsible patient was. If you want to be stabbed several times, to NEVER get an IV started, and not get your infusion, go here. I have simple, but smaller veins (two of them) and after 6 failed IV starts, I told them no more and went home. These nurses SPECIALIZE in IVs for the infusions, why could nobody do their job effectively and start an IV. I’m beyond angry and will NEVER go back to this infusion center.

I received chemotherapy treatments here for 6 months. The nurses were all incredibly caring, skilled and sweet.
