Let’s start with I am a retired ED nurse x 40 years in Detroit . I have been waiting for 1.50 hours to see someone. 2 people walking out do the ridiculous wait times. There was 2 people ahead of me.waiting to be seen. This is unacceptable No communication with the staff. Poor patient care.The NP ordered a chest x-ray. I trusted these people with my life and she sent me away saying viral. I told her my chest and back hurt bad had a bad cough lots of green stuff etc. Went to Dr 2 days later for same had X-ray i have bacterial multifocal pneumonia look it up it's bad. Shame on you. I would like to add that she knew I am a multiple sclerosis patient too. Things are different for me with a compromised immune system
Although my condition was not Urgent Care solvable, I had the most kind and knowledgeable staff that pointed us in the right direction for treatment.
An urgent care office visit is a minimum of $250 for those without insurance. Just so you know. The receptionist said it could be $300 plus additional charges for labs. Obscene.
I had a fantastic experience at the Trinity Health IHA Urgent Care in Chelsea. Being able to book a "reserve my spot" appointment just an hour ahead of time was incredibly convenient. When I arrived at my scheduled time, the waiting room was calm and quiet, with only a few other patients. I was taken to a room within five minutes of my arrival, and the doctor saw me just a few minutes after that.
