I have had a very rough couple of months with health issues. I have had to come to THL a few times and each time I received the most amazing, compassionate care. Units I was on: ER,3E,3W, ICU,4E,4W,Dialysis, and to the Doctors, PT/OT, Clerks, kitchen staff and anyone else I may have missed: thank you so much. I am so grateful to have met all of you. Your smiles and dedication and love for your job helps so many people.

I have been in my share of ER's in my 54 years and as an EMT. This is hands down the worst ER I have ever stepped into. 5 hours in the lobby no beds, test, back to lobby, test back. No one has touched me, listened to me or done a full exam. People are wheeled from registration and left for hours. The staff is dismissive, rude and unempathic to everyone I have seen since I have been here. Lady was so sick she couldn't stand begging for help. So mechanical and worthless staff. I wrote a long review in December 2025 regarding the abuse my mother received while in emergency. The review is now missing and has been removed from their website. I’m not sure how they are able to remove a Google review.? At the time of the abuse. I filed a formal complaint in person. The emergency room nurse even admitted what happened! I was told I will be hearing from the hospital administrator, but never did.. How is this hospital still in business. Are people going here because its close to their home??? It need... read more

A close family member was admitted here and I needed to drop off personal things and I had minor questions. I understand that ER can get very busy but the lady working the front desk just made me feel really shitty and I was just trying to communicate that I only needed to know visiting hours and that I wanted to make sure her stuff would be safe so if anything wasn't allowed in, I would be able to take it back home and expressed concern that I wouldn't want her stuff lost or thrown away. My grandson almost died at birth at this hospital in March. My daughter's labor was induced. She was in labor for two days, she had low fluid. Twice I asked why weren't they going to give her a C-section, they gave vague answers and kept beating around the bush. Needless to say my grandson stopped breathing shortly after birth and ended up at U of M Ann Arbor Hospital in the neonatal ICU for two weeks.
