Trinity Health Medical Group, Primary Care - East Paris runs on time and does not keep you waiting. Dr. Ariel Mejia has a great manner and mastery of medical knowledge. In this age where hospitals own medical practices, this office performs well. While Dr. Mejia recognizes he is an employee, he treats his patients like he owns the practice. When I called for my most recent appointment, I was on hold for 2 calls lasting more than 10 minutes before I called back and pressed 0 to speak to a human. The office is nice. The wait time no problem. I went in for a standard yearly physical that was covered by my insurance 100%. For no reason at all I received a $60 bill because apparently we talked about something in the physical that was above and beyond a standard physical. I went in there with no health concerns at all. They couldn’t even tell me what it was, something about excersizing more or something. Give me a break. That advice applies to everyone on the face of the earth…. I went in thinking I had a normal appointment for a tetanus shot with Dr Landon who is a fabulous doctor. Little did I know it would turn into 40 minutes of the receptionist (Threshon) practically screaming at me that they no longer accept my insurance. She was unwilling to give my insurance company the time of day to explain that my insurance will cover the cost but needs to be billed differently. The receptionist did not want to hear any of it. Although I like my doctor (Dr. Fitzgerald), the incompetency of this office has led me to make a post to try and warn any new patients from coming here. I have had continual issues with this office not coding my appointments correctly. These are obvious errors in coding, such as stating that my normal appointment scheduled around 2 months in advance is instead an Urgent Care appointment.
