I had a d&c surgery at Trinity. The surgery staff was amazing from the first person to the last. Even the woman working at the little welcome center was very joyful. I was very scared of surgery, as it was my first time going under. Every nurse showered me with compassion, kindness and very true empathy. They took their time but also didn’t let me ruminate for too long :D You can tell they do this a lot. The hospital was clean, the gowns were able to be heated and cooled and I even got to play music (at a respectable volume)... read more

I will forever give St. Joe's (which is now Trinity Oakland) a five star review. There are numerous reasons for me choosing this hospital. Number one is that this is a Catholic hospital. Number two is that all of my amazing doctors that are on staff here don't need around. They get things done. For someone who has had three open heart surgeries and many other orthopedic problems, I know an excellent hospital when I see one. While waiting to be called back, Johnny M. came and got me. He was amazing. No one can ever get an... read more

I am writing this review to document serious concerns regarding my daughter’s recent hospitalization. While her surgery itself was successful, the overall experience reflected systemic care failures, poor communication, and a lack of professionalism. Emergency Department Experience: My daughter arrived at the Emergency Department around 10:45 a.m. After waiting approximately three hours, I questioned why patients arriving after her were being seen first. I was told she was on the main ER list with a six-to-seven-hour wait. S... read more

OR recovery is awful they tell you prior to surgery that once loved one is in recovery you will be able to come back. Last visit doc told me I could see loved one in an hour. 5 hours later I was still fighting to see them. This is second time here this time I was assured it wouldn't happen again and I'm at 3 hours and waiting just spoke with recovery and no I'm sorry you aren't allowed in recovery you have to wait til she is assigned a room and they have no idea when this will be meanwhile I have kids that need picked up fro... read more

The ER is a war zone. People on gurneys EVERYWHERE. The only way you get prompt care for CHEST PAIN and DANGEROUSLY HIGH BP is to be brought in by ambulance. No communication, dismissive attitudes. The last ER nurse told my 86 year old mother, that her chest pain and 245/130 BP was because she was too EMOTIONAL. This is a woman with 3 stents and high BP, that is taking 3 BP medications. Oh, did I skip the part about her being a retired Nurse Practitioner? Let's move on, once you finally get an answer, 28 hours later, on whet... read more
