My son was accompanied by me, his mom because he has a head injury and easily can get upset with frustrated situations. He wanted to get help for his alcohol addiction because he has unsuccessfully tried to quit. My son has taken the vitamins that Dr Kumar prescribed last year and cut down his drinking considerably but has come to the realization that he needs professional medical help and he cannot do it alone. Staff is always helpful, professional and courteous. My regular doctor, Dr Gunachelvan, recently parted from Trinity. Now I see Ms Kayla Cruz Perez. I am so excited about having her as my primary doctor. She has a positive attitude that is contagious.
Dr. Kumar is very thorough. Caught up to my previous history fast. Reviewed meds and finished our appointment. Dr. Kumar exuded medical knowledge, confidence and i felt she had just become my primary doctor and part of my team.
Meeting with the doctor was absolutely fine. Trying to schedule a bone density appointment at the Bicentennial location was impossible because they said they had no schedules and gave me the general number to call. I was told the general number had schedules for all of the sites. When I called the general number, they only had schedules for their site on Carew St., and I couldn't get an appointment until May 4th. Absolutely horrible, I waited almost a half hour over the scheduled time . I came for a referral for a weight loss med which I received over a year ago as referred through trinity. The med at that time was Wegovy and eventually supplies ran out. I now have a BMI of 34.75 and was told by Dr Kumar that she would not reorder the med but would refer me to the weight loss clinic and that based on my BMI, being pre diabetec, and a previous cardiac history , would be eligible to resume med therapy.
