Disgraceful and shameful standards at Lacks Cancer Center. The way they have handled my Moms treatments is beyond unacceptable. I genuinely cannot understand how they have allowed the most inappropriate, uncaring, and lazy individuals to oversee patients during the most vulnerable time of their life. Doctors have been excellent and kind-hearted, but they are only a small part of the experience. Just brought my wife here for a blood disorder. Friendly staff and doctors. Her doctor was Dr J Seid. He was our kind of doctor, mostly old school.He made us feel comfortable with the visit. We recommend him and appreciate him.
I have been coming to Lacks since I was initially diagnosed with stage 3b breast cancer, June of 2019. My life has been a crazy ordeal and changed so much since that day. With all the uncertainties that come along with cancer, you can at least be certain that your care team at the Lacks Cancer Center will do everything they can to help you. I was hospitalized over the weekend at 4 Lacks and everyone from the doctors and nurses to the technicians who performed my ultrasound and CT scan was incredibly kind. A special thanks to Nurse Jennifer, Megan, and Jordan they are true angels. They went above and beyond to make my stay as comfortable as possible, ensuring I was well cared for, prioritizing my health, and easing my pain. Every single person there made sure I was ready to go home safely. I’m truly grateful
I was nervous about what to expect during my treatment. The staff, especially the nurses, were so great. Warm, friendly, and knowledgeable. I noticed how they welcomed everyone and spoke as if we all were friends coming for a visit.
