Dr. Pequette is so amazing with my boys!! He provides great care!! He's attentive and focuses on them. He listens to you and talks things through with you. He explains stuff so that you understand and he makes you feel comfortable. I'm so thankful for him and how considerate he is while caring for my sons!!
I would recommend doctor pequette to any family. He has be son's doctor for 6 years.
We took my grandson to the after hour peds office on Knoxville. Dr. Pequette was on staff. Our grandson had been ill for 5 days at that time. Dr. Pequette came into the room, did not introduce himself nor did he off his hand for a handshake. Dr. Pequette did nothing for our grandson who had been running a fever for 4 days, coughing, congestion, etc. This was on Jan 1. I would NOT recommend Dr Pequette. We had an awful experience when I took my son in. I myself am educated and in medicine and didn’t listen to me at all. He acted like he absolutely hated his job and don’t want to be there. Very poor attitude for being a pediatrician. You shouldn’t be a kids dr if you can’t even smile or look at your kid. Never again.
Dr. Paquette missed our son's abscess on his tonsil & did not listen to us when we told him that our son had a history of this. Another pediatrician found it the next day, and Dr. Paquette lied to the investigators to save face. I would not see him. We don't trust him.
For being a children's doctor, he is not very kid friendly. I don't feel like he talks to the kids in a way that makes them feel comfortable and he always seems like he doesn't want to be there and isn't REALLY listening to you and your concerns.
