True North (Shell) is easily one of the better gas stations in town. The convenience store is clean, well-stocked, and they sell good quality gasoline. My only real complaint is that the pumps frequently won’t accept payment at the pump, so you have to go inside more often than not. It’s a minor issue, but it would be nice if they got that fixed. Overall, still a solid choice and I keep coming back.

As I waited in line to pay, an employee yelled across store that I had to leave because I was barefoot, and it was against state health codes. After I left, I found out there are no state restrictions on customer foot wear. I gave a copy of the info to the manager and have never been back. I go to Loves now, much better customer service.

All the yrs, think I only had a couple grumpy attendants. But not easy dealing with public, especially with this void pandemic, lots of irritable customers that attendants deal with from opening to closing day in, day out. I know, I dealt with public for 28 plus yrs, especially this day & age, the younger generations have no respect for rules or businesses. Be warned. This place is bad news. They have an employee named Ashley and if you even breathe in her direction she will accuse you of sexual harassment! The site manager Charlotte is an amazing manager, but she has really lousy employees!
