This is the only gym in Weslaco, TX that provides childcare and as a result the management at this location do not provide anything fun or even chairs for the kids to sit on while they wait. They take advantage of the fact that they are the only location. Management doesn't care about their members kids.

I workout at multiple trufit locations and this is the location that doesn’t have anything in the kids club for the kids to enjoy. The Brownsville location has a kids movie theater. I’m curious to know how the membership fee that includes childcare is used. Is any of that fee used to upgrade/maintain the club? Is there a strategic plan in place to improve the club? This club is the saddest and least kid friendly in all the RGV.

Location only has 4 stair masters and most of the time, only 3 are working. People are always in line waiting for them, wish they would add two more. The spray bottles used to spray down the equipment are often not working and need to be replaced on both floors.

This location does not provide adequate accommodations for the children in the kids klub. Children do not have chairs to sit on, there is not a rug, no decorations, and the tv isn't loud enough for any of them to hear. I wish the management of this location would provide the children a comfortable, welcoming space while they wait for their parents.

The TruFit location in Weslaco, TX does not value their kids club staff or care enough to provide proper amenities for both staff and students. Both staff and children only have the option to sit on the floor. A parent complained against the staff of the kid's club, it resulted with a change in their work setting: the chairs that staff would use to rock or feed babies have been taken away. It used to be a great gym but it’s going downhill mismatched weights all the time and the classes don’t allow you to use “their weights” as one of the instructors told me. Also with the class going on it’s way too crowded🫤 I love this gym but they need to consider moving the classes to the back building and get more machines in that area. The child care center is awesome love how nice all the workers are. This gym can be great! Just a few issues that need to be addressed.

I'm sorry, i know the front desk asked for a five star but i really could not bring myself to do it. the staff is great and all, but it really is so overpacked. I get out of work late, and because of that I am forced to wait this assembly line of people to use benches or just to make enough room to use dumbbells. Ive literally seen people take the weights down the halls where the bathrooms are to workout. It's that bad. And all the while, i STILL see the staff signing up more members!
