I would like to share some feedback regarding my child’s swimming classes. It has been around seven months since we joined, but the evaluation report has remained the same, and we have not seen much improvement. Additionally, there have been frequent changes in tutors, which may be affecting consistency in learning. LIFTERS BEWARE: If you're looking to lift weights this is not the place. The amenities are great and the weight room has what is needed, but the majority elderly clientele make it impossible to actually work out. The cowardly staff caters to this audience as they can get suckered into the woeful personal training options. The atmosphere is dead, zero energy, music is the same as a dentist's waiting room. If you want to actually lift weights you will be asked to leave. Cancelled and will never go back.
I’ve enrolled at this YMCA twice, but both times I ran into the exact same problem. There’s a group of older men who act like they own the place (though they are just members). They are rude, sit on machines for long periods without letting others use them, and their behavior in the sauna is very disrespectful. Unfortunately, the staff doesn’t step in to address this, which makes the environment unwelcoming. Yoga classes are excellent! Cardio equipment is plentiful. Staff is friendly and attentive. Facility is clean, comfortable and well maintained.
I’d love to share how impressed I am with this fitness complex! It’s spacious, spread over two floors, and everything is well-organized and modern. I especially appreciated having access to two swimming pools, a sauna, a fully equipped gym, and a dedicated area with exercise bikes. Working out here is a real pleasure!
