I went to urgent care Christmas morning and was referred to Dr. Tucker , I had zero hope of getting in to see him on Christmas but left a message. He called me back and asked if I could meet at his office in 20 mins and he came in to take care of me on CHRISTMAS DAY for a work place related eye injury. DON’T WASTE YOUR TIME !! My husband saw this guy and visited this office for 3 years; hoping to get relief for his extremely dry eyes. This office is HORRIBLE to people and this “dry eye specialist” listed so called “Doctor” offered LESS than our local Opthamologist’s office. Plus the staff locally have never been as RUDE as Dr. Tucker’s staff. My brother, Bruce (who is mentally challenged) and I like Dr. Tucker & appreciate his care, although he has been "snippy" with Bruce a few times. The receptionist, Debbie, desperately needs a course in public relations! She is rude to Bruce & then transfers her ugliness to me at every appt & on the phone. At most recent appt, she lashed out at me because Bruce arrived very early, (he has difficulty judging travel timing from Bridgeport). Up until today I would have highly recommended this practice. Dr Tucker is wonderful and it is always nice to see him and get my annual exam like I have been doing for 20+ years. I went this morning for my annual exam and was taken to a room where the woman said she is going to insert eye plugs. I said that is not what I am here for. She said that is what my appointment was for. I said where did that procedure come from? She said I would have to make another appointment. Tucker is the worst doctor I have ever met. If I could give negative stars I would. My elderly mother went in for an eye appointment and Dr. Tucker was extremely unprofessional. His actions were shameful. Thanks Eye consultant for caring for my mom!
