I went to urgent care Christmas morning and was referred to Dr. Tucker , I had zero hope of getting in to see him on Christmas but left a message. He called me back and asked if I could meet at his office in 20 mins and he came in to take care of me on CHRISTMAS DAY for a work place related eye injury. I work in healthcare and know how a GOOD DOCTOR operators. Dr. Tucker IS A VERY GOOD, CARING, DOCTOR. My brother, Bruce (who is mentally challenged) and I like Dr. Tucker & appreciate his care, although he has been "snippy" with Bruce a few times. The receptionist, Debbie, desperately needs a course in public relations! She is rude to Bruce & then transfers her ugliness to me at every appt & on the phone. At most recent appt, she lashed out at me because Bruce arrived very early, (he has difficulty judging travel timing from Bridgeport). Up until today I would have highly recommended this practice. Dr Tucker is wonderful and it is always nice to see him and get my annual exam like I have been doing for 20+ years. I went this morning for my annual exam and was taken to a room where the woman said she is going to insert eye plugs. I said that is not what I am here for. She said that is what my appointment was for. I said where did that procedure come from? She said I would have to make another appointment. I had an excellent experience with Dr Tucker and his medical staff. The front desk is always very quick to answer the phone and extremely helpful and kind as well. Thank you Dr Tucker and staff!
Waiting room and offices are cluttered and unclean. The staff is miserable, especially the front desk receptionist. I've been a patient at this office for years, and my experience has just gotten worse over the years. There is a clear lack of concern and morale in this office. I wouldn't recommend this practice.
