TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

Chicken was super moist and tender. The slider with the coleslaw and pickle was delicious. Fries were crispy and hot and really tasty with the cheese sauce and extra sauce on the side. I will definitely be returning. The tables and floor were a little dirty with food from past customers. The counters by the pop could have also used a wipe down, and they were out of pretty much out of napkins. All in all, food was good, the service was great, could have just been a little cleaner.
Fantastic hot chicken chain! I got the number 3, a slider, tender, and fries. Picked extra hot, and it actually is! Fries and chicken are very crispy, with chicken still staying juicy inside. Highly recommend over other chains that serve chicken.
The waiting time a bit, the food is great but the number 4 sliders looks very over cook but the taste is good, the toilet is annoying asking key in the cashier, the server was handing out the food wearing gloves but she hand out the toilet key is a food and safety issue. She should remove the gloves after handing out the key and take a new gloves before giving the foods. The slider buns are too small. The chicken taste great but a bit salty !! A lot of parking space plus. The dining area is clean.
Service was quick, polite, Paulina has a great accent, which I'm a sucker for. Atmosphere was perfect for noon time. Not super busy but not weirdly vacant. Paulina was a cutie. Chicken spice was delicious fries cooked perfectly where the crunch is present but still soft in the middle. Also, did I mention how great Paulina was?
We got a little bit of everything, I got the hot slider and it is spicy, fries are bomb especially with cheese in them. I give it a 10 for overall experience and taste. My kids loved it as well.
