During the first week our family became divided. There was no support in building our child's support systems. She became more isolated. As time went on, our child's symptoms worsened to the point that the staff took her to the emergency room and notified us she is not to return. There was no discharge plan. This place completely saved my life. I was in the darkest hole with the most suffocating darkness that almost killed me. They want a 1,000$ per month. Plus you must be a trained seal to jump through all their hoops. Unhelpful to say the least. I can say with out a doubt, they offer no help.

If you have a loved one suffering from mental illness DO NOT send them to Turning Point. They are understaffed in care management. New employees every week. If you have panic Attacks they are not trained to help you calm down. Often say go lay down. The other clients were more helpful than the staff. On the weekends oftentimes 1 employee for 15-18 client’s. The therapist we dealt with for the first 3 weeks with was inexperienced and exacerbated my loved ones symptoms. He got worse .The only good therapist there are patch an... read more

Currently employed at this facility and I love working here. The other staff are phenomenal and the clients are great. Management is supportive of staff especially if we are having family crises or whatever, Management is very understanding and support us however they can. I hope to work for Turning Point for many yrs to come. Would absolutely recommend if I knew friends or family needed some help.
