A family member of mine was admitted here recently. She was there for a couple days and admitted to the emergency room after an incident. My family only learned she was taken to the emergency room because the emergency room contacted us, not Turning Point that was overseeing her care and drove her there. She was at the hospital for a week and we received no communication from Turning Point until they called us to ask what we wanted them to do with her belongings, as she was not being admitted back into their facility. Mind y... read more

I was there from late June to late July. I can honestly say that coming here is one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. Staff is welcoming and supportive. I had Zac as my therapist and he’s the best therapist I’ve ever had. He made me feel seen and understood. Checked up on me frequently, even when we didn’t have a session at that time. Chelsie was the one who picked me up from the airport, and right when I met her I felt comfortable and my anxiety was eased immensely. I recommend this place to anyone seeking mental health... read more

During the first week our family became divided. There was no support in building our child's support systems. She became more isolated. As time went on, our child's symptoms worsened to the point that the staff took her to the emergency room and notified us she is not to return. There was no discharge plan. And when asked for help to identify next steps, they wouldn't provide any. Our child felt she couldn't talk and work on her struggles. We are so disappointed in the services, very amateur. It was no more than an adult da... read more

This place completely saved my life. I was in the darkest hole with the most suffocating darkness that almost killed me. I could not function anymore and I was too tired in everyway to try any harder. This place gave me the education, care, love, and support that has given me the glimpse of hope to keep working on my recovery and that this life is worth living. It was the perfect reset in life that I needed and I would have loved to stay longer if my personal life allowed it. I met people that became my family and the staff ... read more

If you have a loved one suffering from mental illness DO NOT send them to Turning Point. They are understaffed in care management. New employees every week. If you have panic Attacks they are not trained to help you calm down. Often say go lay down. The other clients were more helpful than the staff. On the weekends oftentimes 1 employee for 15-18 client’s. The therapist we dealt with for the first 3 weeks with was inexperienced and exacerbated my loved ones symptoms. He got worse .The only good therapist there are patch an... read more
