I called Bob Richmond, a service rep that I always ask for because he always does an excellent job of taking care of me and my vehicle. I was in Fresno late Friday afternoon at the local dealer, who said he did not have the part I needed. I had to be in Orange County on Saturday, so I called Bob to see if he had the part. He said he didn't, but he would order it so that it would arrive when I brought my car in on Saturday. I've stated this before that perhaps when one's vehicle is ready to leave, the technician could come out and let the patron know what was repaired and/or what was observed as upcoming repairs. For instance, they can tell by the amount of wear on a patron's tires if they can expect to get another 10k miles out of them or 20k, etc. If a filter is dirty and they somewhat prep the patron that the next visit that filter will need to be replaced, etc. Or even nothing is wrong and it looks good ... see ya back in 5,000 miles.
