My son was in the ICU dealing with diabetes this past year. The head doctor of this unit referred my son to Dr. Theriot. My son, my mom, my youngest son, and myself are now patients of Dr. Theriot. He’s patient, thorough, thoughtful, kind, and a great listener. We all were without primary physicians for the first time due to retirements. I’m very selective who I trust me and my family’s overall care to. I am truly grateful for Dr. Theriot and his team.
On 04/08/25, I called my PCP Rebecca Treuil after I had developed inflammation in my lungs after a car fire the day before but she couldn’t see me due to her schedule. I was given an appointment with Dr. Tyler Theriot. Dr. Theriot was very helpful, caring, kind and informative on my condition. I highly recommend him. I later spoke with the physician on call, David Fontenot, when I had questions after my visit. I like Dr Theriot so much! He is compassionate and listens. He’s very thorough and I appreciate how he takes the time to explain when necessary. He also is proactive and that is a big plus for as I’m concerned. I recommend him most definitely for Primary Care.
Dr. Theriot has been treating my Mother for three months. He always talks to her and tries to explain treatment, even though she has only 10% hearing in one ear and 0% in the other. He is very Knowledgeable, thorough, caring, gentle, and listens to everything we have to say. Dr. Theriot's is awesome; lucked out getting him for my Mother! Dr. Theriot's Nurse is awesome as well. He will soon become my internist as well!
I had been sick since mid February. Also, my little dog was having serious problems (she is about 12 years old). I was unsuccessful when I tried to reach my primary physician, and too sick to keep trying. Finally, I called Monday and got an appointment for Tuesday, at 2:15pm.
