Typically I prefer a female physician. However I love my new primary care doctor, Tyler Theriot. He addresses my needs and always answers my questions with care, compassion and professionalism. Although young, he is competent and empathetic.
I was unable to get in to see my normal doctor at the Baton Rouge clinic, but I was able to get into see Dr. Tyler Theriot. When I arrived, I checked in and was able to get In right away. His staff is awesome and very nice, when using my chart messaging they answered back in a timely fashion. I actually want to switch doctors now.
My son was in the ICU dealing with diabetes this past year. The head doctor of this unit referred my son to Dr. Theriot. My son, my mom, my youngest son, and myself are now patients of Dr. Theriot. He’s patient, thorough, thoughtful, kind, and a great listener. We all were without primary physicians for the first time due to retirements. I’m very selective who I trust me and my family’s overall care to. I am truly grateful for Dr. Theriot and his team.
Dr Theriot is an excellent and very knowledgeable doctor who really cares about his patients. I could not be any more impressed with him. He is now my new primary doctor.
On 04/08/25, I called my PCP Rebecca Treuil after I had developed inflammation in my lungs after a car fire the day before but she couldn’t see me due to her schedule. I was given an appointment with Dr. Tyler Theriot. Dr. Theriot was very helpful, caring, kind and informative on my condition. I highly recommend him. I later spoke with the physician on call, David Fontenot, when I had questions after my visit.
