This place is a very shady organization. I was initially quoted $4,800 for Contoura LASIK with a lifetime assurance warranty. The sales consultant I spoke with indicated that they could honor a price match if I could provide a quote from another practice. They did not honor that commitment. After sometime passed they contacted me back and lured me back in with a price reduction. I drove an hour to their location for my scheduled procedure and they tried to pull another one on me. because I was liead to, they told me if I bought the expensive new eye lense I would never haft to wear glasses again. they also told me they could remove the whole cataract on my left eye. if I spent 6,000 to do it all so I payed in full for Y'all's service, and they didn't tell me after surgery that they couldn't get it all, they waited to see me for 3 weeks,then told me, so yesterday I had to go in so they could use a laser to get the rest of the cataract. but the guy who did it told me it don't get rid of the cataract,it... read more
THEY DELETED MY ORIGINAL POST SO HERE IT IS: WOW what an awful experience from start to finish. My mom wanted Lasik, so after much research, I decided to take her to Tylock Eye Care. Turns out she wasn't a candidate and had to do the much more expensive cataract surgery/intraocular lens implant, (around 10K) cash, as insurance didn't cover this procedure. Update: I received a call back within an hour of posting this review. After we spoke for a few minutes, the gentleman on the phone said he could see where I was coming from and agreed that the $175 fee was not reasonable given the short amount of time since my last surgery. He also stated with the vision I had it should have lasted a lot longer. They waived the fee and I had my appointment this morning.
