I was given United Air Temp through American home shield (AHS should remove them from their system) my furnace (heat) went out, UAT came out and diagnosed the problem (control board) and ordered the part. When they came out to put on the part, the area manager came out and told me I needed venting and that he blocked my American home shield work order until I got the venting completed and that it was going to cost $2000. United Air Temp does not provide consistent customer service. I used to compliment them as a company because I had great experiences with them but recently, I’ve been beyond disappointed. My AC unit has been out since early June. Three technicians have come out, each with a different diagnosis. The repair is covered through my home warranty. Since the June 9th visit, they have yet to inform the home warranty company what the issue is and instead inform the tenant the manager will contact me about a full replacement. I’ve been using UAT for years and they’ve been great. They replaced by entire AC system, and installed a new hot water heater. But you’re only as good as your most recent interaction, and my most recent interaction leaves a lot to be desired. I woke up to find that my hot water heater that UAT installed a few years back was leaking from the top of the unit. Customer Service: 10/10 Contacted them for a plumbing issue in the bathroom via AHS Warranty and they were swift in their response. A technician was able to come within 24h of the request and resolved our issue. They were very personable, knowledgeable, and had ample tools necessary to fix the issue. We will definitely reuse them in the future should another issue arise.

I was recently assigned United Air Temp through American home shield (AHS) and despite me explaining that my Carrier Infinity system was showing an error for outside sensor. They tune my system and left without repair. It was running at that time, but that last 2 days. After coming back out under warranty work I was finally able to convince the supervisor to order the part only after showing the technician where the sensor was.
