I have used University center Imaging for seven years. Great facility for imaging services. Fast, no wait time. People are friendly. Most important thing is affordable. I have compared the bills from the health first hospital and UCI. For the same imaging services, hospital charged three times of what UCI charged to my insurance. If you are self paid, you will find this is a good facility for you to use for your imaging services.
Technician didn’t wear gloves during pelvic ultrasound! I watched the woman put the sheath on over the wand with her bare hands. When I asked her if she could put a new one on with gloves, she told me that they never touch the tip of it. Doesn’t seem relevant to me. After I insisted, she told me “I’ll do it if it makes you more comfortable” and proceeded to put on one glove. These people here are welcoming, loving, caring, professional and very organized. I've been to allot of places like this Imagine Center but this tops them all. I left feeling happy that I came. Thank you all and God bless you always...
Yesterday I had an appointment at University center imaging for a lumbar spine MRI. I am in a lot of pain with my back issues and I am scheduled for a procedure on July 9. My doctor ordered the MRI. I was surprised that I was taken in very soon, however, the lady who did my MRI, her name was Nancy. She was very nice, but she refused to assist me in anyway. I ask her to assist me by supporting my Back to lay flat and she would not. I also asked for a blanket which she did not provide. She offered music which never came on. W... read more
The entire staff at UCI are compassionate and amazing! From the employees at check-in to the call center scheduling. I know I will have forgotten someone's name, but in authorization, John is so caring and clearly puts patients needs first. Samantha and Carrie in scheduling exhibit the same kind of care and compassion. I hope they receive the recognition from their managers, as it is so well deserved.
