They could’ve specified during the Memorial Day sale that the blue, red, and green tags needed to be the same color for bogo. It led to a lot of unnecessary confusion.
Customer service wasn't the best. Definitely understand the meaning of the name now. They do not price fairly. They kept 7 purses and offered less than $40. But will turn around and sell one of those purses for that same amount. The purses were new with tags still on them. You will make out better at another place that buy things or sell them on your own.
I visited the Uptown Cheapskate location on June 2nd around 11:00 AM to drop off some clothing items. During my visit, I observed some unprofessional behavior from the staff. Specifically, one associate, who was wearing glasses, appeared visibly displeased while handling my items. When she picked up a pair of sandals I brought in, she made a remark along the lines of “Are you serious?” which came across as dismissive and disrespectful. Best experience I’ve had at a buy sell trade store! Check in for selling clothing was fast and easy, took 30 minutes for 3 large bags of clothes which usually at other uptown’s take like 3-4 hours. Compensated fairly and they took more than other uptown’s usually do for me. Absolutely coming back to sell more items, it’s so easy and their customer service was great- super friendly!
Seller: Nice spacious parking lot. Checked in little before noon on Tuesday. It took approximately 20 mins from check in to check out. Since this is a new location I found that they took a lot more of different styles than average compared to other locations. I’m org from NJ/NY area, I’d say my style is a bit more city chic.
