How have I been here 3 days in a row already?! Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday. Sunday I brought one item in to sell that I just happened to have in my car. Uptown gave me a 15 min window and was done in that 15 mins. If they accept your items(s) you'll be offered cash or store credit. The store credit will always be the slightly higher amount. This place would be exceptional excluding the fact that they have no shopping carts, so parents with smaller children cannot keep their children contained and can't shop as one could in a normal retail store. I've had to cut my shopping time way down for this sole reason. This could be alleviated with a simple solution. Seems they may not be geared towards mothers which could constitute a massive shopper base and kindof odd considering the majority of their merchandise is geared towards women. Avoid at all cost. I left two big bags of clothes that were in optimal conditions. Never received an offer or a text back, and when I called they said they only picked up 2 out of 20 items I left for 8 dollars, just ridiculous. And there is more, they said they donated the other 18 things as “I did not respond the offer,” an offer that never came through and never received from my end. I dont know if the girls working here are just lazy or what but this place is a joke. I just spent the day carefully cleaning and picking out items to sell. Since I live by the airport, it’s a far drive for me so I dropped off my clothes and than killed time while I waited for them to “review” my items. So I went to target and got lunch and sat in my car just for them to text me hours later saying they couldn’t find anything they wanted to buy. Honestly if you’re looking for deals and trying to thrift, this is definitely not the place to go. I feel like for a thrift store. Everything is so ridiculously overpriced. There was SHEIN sweaters Priced at 10.99 When I looked them up on SHIEN, they were six dollars. Also charging $30 for a worn Free people sweatshirt is a little crazy to me just because it’s namebrand doesn’t justify charging that much. It’s a second hand store they are not brand new clothes.
