I went yesterday to sell some of my clothes, and unfortunately, it was a very disappointing experience as expressed by the rest of the reviews. The employee at the front had a very rude attitude and was dressed inappropriately for work, which made a poor first impression. I waited inside while they reviewed my items, and they told me they were only interested in 2 pieces. How have I been here 3 days in a row already?! Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday. Sunday I brought one item in to sell that I just happened to have in my car. Uptown gave me a 15 min window and was done in that 15 mins. If they accept your items(s) you'll be offered cash or store credit. The store credit will always be the slightly higher amount. dropped off two large bags of clothes today and was honestly shocked by the experience. The bags included good, name-brand items like Polo Ralph Lauren, J.Crew, HUK, Tommy Hilfiger, and others—some pieces even still had tags on them and are very current with today’s styles.After waiting 3.5 hours, I received a text saying they would purchase only two items for $6. First time going to the Beach Blvd/Hodges location and I was excited. Very unwelcoming atmosphere. No hello, good morning, welcome… nothing. I was the only shopper there at the time. All 3 workers were behind the counter totally engrossed in their loud conversation about cats. The store’s appearance was neat and tidy but the workers could use more training about acknowledging a customer’s presence and offering help if necessary. I’ll take my dollars elsewhere…I won’t be back.
