Sold me a pair of shoes where the buckle was broken on one shoe, making them completely useless. They put one shoe out on display and keep one behind the counter to avoid theft. The shoe on display was totally fine, I didn't even think to look at the shoe from behind the counter once provided to me at checkout. Sure , I should have taken a second look at that one, that's on me. However, I shouldn't HAVE to do that. An honest business would point out the flaw prior to completing the sale. Dishonest business practices, don't s... read more

How have I been here 3 days in a row already?! Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday. Sunday I brought one item in to sell that I just happened to have in my car. Uptown gave me a 15 min window and was done in that 15 mins. If they accept your items(s) you'll be offered cash or store credit. The store credit will always be the slightly higher amount. Monday I brought in two bags of things (which is the most you can bring in at one time - 2 bags) I chose to wait and shop in store while the attendant went through my belongings. I found... read more

I always have an excellent selling and shopping experience here! The employees always thoroughly explain the selling process so I'm never shocked or disappointed. It was explained that I'd receive 1/3 of what they price it at and their price is 1/3 of retail. Not a huge payout for each item but I know that already before hand. It's also incredibly organized so my shopping experience is always amazing. Also very nice to see a thrift store with sizes xs-3x! nice work :)

Everytime I come in to sell, I bring items that are listed as “needed” and 80% of them are brand new with tags as well as brands they say they love(Zara, Levi, Free People, Abercrombie, Aerie, Agolde ect) yet they’ll only take maybe a couple and offer you hardly anything. Mind you, the store is filled with shein and target clothing. Side note; some of the people working there have terrible attitudes and act as if you’re bothering them by making them do their job.

⭐☆☆☆☆ Upscale Cheapskate – more vintage drama than designer chic Imagine a fashion time capsule curated by someone’s over-caffeinated little sister. The clothes are “pre-loved” (emphasis on pre), the energy is chaotic, and the staff seems perpetually on the brink of a breakdown. Think heirloom hand-me-downs passed through too many friends — hopefully sanitized somewhere along the way.
