I've been to several Uptown Cheapskates, and this is the best one I've been to yet. We actually had a pretty negative experience at the Denton location, and found this to be a completely different environment. Every staff member was incredibly friendly, and the selection was incredibly organized. Even though it's farther from me, this will be my go-to location in the future. Loved my experience here! Went with 4 teen girls for a $25 bag sale. We were able to stuff a bag full of awesome deals. The girls had an incredible time and the selection was great. We shopped the rest of the store too once our bags were stuffed within and inch of their lives. Jeanne was super nice and started a bin for us to hold our items while we continued to shop. I was pleasantly surprised at the selection! I'm currently on a weight loss journey and the clothing here was at an amazing price. As I'm losing weight I dont want to spend a ton of money, but the clothes I found make me feel good!
The store is a great size and has options from XS to 2-3xl. The store is clean. The dressings rooms are a good size, and all of the staff was friendly and helpful. The prices are quite reasonable as well. There were also a good number of name brand items in the store too. I had a few items to sell as well and received a decent offer amount which I used toward my purchase. I look forward to visiting the location again.
Absolutely terrible. Uptown Cheapskate in Little Elm is a mess from top to bottom. The staff acts like customers are an inconvenience instead of the reason the store exists. Zero friendliness, zero professionalism, and zero effort to explain anything. You’re basically ignored. The buying process is a joke. They reject perfectly good, clean, on-trend items with no explanation, yet the sales floor is packed with overpriced junk that looks like it should’ve been donated years ago.
