I had a really great experience here. They buyers were so kind and thoughtful. However their pricing model is closer to 1/4 or 1/5 than the 1/3 of retail they claim. In brought in some dresses with tags and price attached that were higher end brands (6star and 7star). They were close and over 100 dollars each and priced at $24.99 I believe. I can't wait to shop here though!
I’ve sold several times here and customer service just keeps getting worse and worse. I wish the owners would listen to their employees and create a more organized system. It’s the reason I don’t sell to their south Lamar location. They essentially have you look for your own bags. Couldn’t find mine for a while and they only pretended to help me look for them.
March 2025 this location is building their inventory up from zero so they are very eager to buy! Sending all my friends here. Mens and women’s clothes. Uptown Cheapskate pays the most out of local competitors like Clothes Mentor or Style Encore. Highly recommend. This store has not announced a grand opening for customers to come shop but sounds like April/May 2025.
Sold half a basket of clothes. Plan to drop by soon with some more when I have time. Tyler’s customer service was 5 star and super friendly. Also, plan to shop around when the store opens. A must checkout for a new Burnet resale shop.
So happy there’s a new location right by me! The selling process was smooth and I was able to get store credit in exchange for my clothing.
