I really love this store, it’s one of my favorites, but I do wish I didn’t have to buy a bag before browsing during the 25.00 bag sale today. There’s always a lot of great stuff, but this time, not much aligned with what I was looking for. I ended up picking out things for other people instead. If I’d been able to see the selection beforehand, I probably would’ve spent that money on something I truly loved in the store instead. A rare miss, but still a place I’ll keep going back to.

This is my second time coming here. I brought 3 Real Dooney and Bourke up to resell. Now, the young girl at the desk told me we can't take these they are too used. And she was laughing. Very rude and ignorant. I didn't see anything funny. I don't know if she thought I was an idiot or what. I am looking at the purses in there they are very used and best up. Her customer service skills was horrible. One of these purses looks new. The young girls up there are not people friendly.

I am writing this to formally share my disappointment with the service I received today at this West Valley store on August 16, 2025, between approx. 2:30 and 4:00pm. I visited multiple other Uptown Cheapskate locations earlier today (Fashion Place, South Jordan, American Fork) and had nothing but wonderful, professional, and kind experiences. This was my first time at Uptown Cheapskate. The store was very clean and organized. The staff were super helpful. I had quite a few items in my hands after trying them on but still had more shopping to do! They offered to store them until I was finished shopping. The prices are better than any thrift store I've been too and the quality of the items were 5 stars. I will definitely be shopping here more often.

Went to take some clothes to sell for the first time, wasn’t aware of the whole process, the girl with straight black hair that was in charge of looking at clothes seemed annoyed with NEW CUSTOMERS who didn’t know what to do. Wouldn’t acknowledge me. Had me standing there looking ridiculous until another girl asked if they could help me. Overall Awful experience. Don’t waste your time here. Try a different location with better employees.
