Get directionsI wanted to share my experience here as there are a lot of negative reviews. I was here for a week and I actually enjoyed it here. The nurses are really nice and the food is great. I would make a few changes though. Like better bedding and more blankets. Otherwise, I was treated wirh respect and fairness and learned a lot. Thank you for all the help!
Years ago, I was sent to this facility after calling a suicide hotline. I wasn’t sure if I was suicidal — I just knew I was in a dark place, deeply depressed, and needed someone to talk to. I will never do that again. What followed was one of the most traumatic experiences of my life. They lied to me about what would happen and had me taken to a hospital, where things quickly spiraled. I was locked in a room, unable to contact my friends or family, and my phone was taken away. In the middle of the night — around 12:30 AM — ... read more
Been here on like September 15. This was not a pleasant experience. Sure I met new kids and all that but the food was horrible, the staff didn't really care besides some people like the tall black haired guy. I forgot my name and he was kind and respectful. Same with the teachers and this one guy who was online there during nighttime shif... read more
Horrible place. I went around the beginning of the year at 2 am and got to the back at 5 am. Two hours later I was woken up for blood and another hour later I was woken up to get out of bed. When I refused due to the less than 3 hours of sleep the staff member, Brian, mumbled about how annoying and how much of an inconvenience it was as he walked away. When I had finally gotten some sleep and left my room he refused to help me and kept pushing me off to other staff. Eventually he stopped acknowledging me at all. At one poin... read more
I absolutely hated it there, most of the staff just ignore you and they do nothing to help. The first few days I was there I didn't eat anything at all and didn't care to make my daily phone call, (they only give you like 7 minutes to talk anyway.) I feel like they should sort which unit, or whatever it's called, based on behavior instead of age.
