I brought my van in for service yesterday and was initially told it would take about 2 hours. The work included an oil change, tire rotation, and two recall items, none of which seemed especially complicated. However, the service ended up taking around 4 hours (from 9:30 AM to 1:30 PM). I understand delays can happen, but there was no update or explanation provided while I was waiting. Better communication and a more accurate estimate would have made the experience much better. Van Hyundai diagnosed my engine issue quickly and after approval from Hyundai USA replace my engine block. All up two weeks and had a sporty Tucson as a loaner during the repairs. Very good service. Good communication.
They get 2 stars for getting me in one the same day after my 12V battery died, and for the friendly service advisor. Unfortunately, the time I was told I would have to wait was 2 hours and it ended up being almost 4 with very little communication. No other service advisor besides the one that was assigned to me even acknowledged my existence when I went to the service desk to get an update after 3 hours. highly recommend Van Hyundai of Carrollton. Their service is truly five-star. I’ve taken multiple vehicles in for Hyundai recall services, and every time the process has been fast and efficient. They usually give me an appointment within about three days, and the work is completed the same day.
