Had to look for new primary doctor, because our doctor's medical center no longer accepts our insurance. I saw that Vance Washington M.D, had good rating. We're we disappointed and misleaded. My daughter a diabetic is still waiting for him to get the prior authorization for her insulin it has been a month still nothing. Nevada is 48th in the United States in healthcare for a reason. My husband met with Dr Washington because he wanted to establish a primary care provider. 1 month after their first appointment my husband started having high blood sugar, and persistent symptoms which correlate with diabetes. Doctor is cool but the office stuff is the worst! I got covid and I couldn’t come for my follow up. I call to the office and they change my appointment for video call. The lady said someone will call during 2 hours to explain how to prepare for the call. In a whole day nobody call me. I call in the end of the day they explain me that tomorrow I’ll get a link for video chat and they will check 10-15 min before appointment if everything works. Guess what? No link no call. I’ve been with intermountain healthcare for a little over a year. Dr Washington is an excellent doctor knowledgeable always explains everything answers all my questions is very attentive and never rushed through a visit. His staff is a great, friendly and respectful at all times.
