We had a great experience renting a jeep from Varlack Ventures for the week. Check in and check out was very quick and easy. Their office is just a short walk around the corner from the ferry so that made pick up and drop off very convenient. The staff was amazing...very helpful and a pleasure to do business with. I called a couple times before my trip to with questions and to confirm my reservation, and they were always easy to reach and available to answer questions. 5 star review!!!
I was very glad to have rented a jeep from Varlack on St. John. The roads are steep and windy and in some places full of potholes and the jeep made me really feel like I was glued to the road. Varlack was very easy to deal with; they were very responsive with information in phone calls and emails. The person at the desk was extremely helpful. I was impressed by my rental experience, and would rent from Varlack again upon returning to STJ.
We rented a 4-door jeep from Varlack 2/06-2/11. The ladies working the counter are amazing. They were able to get me into the jeep a couple hours early. Another perk was being able to park at their rental location in Cruz Bay when we wanted to walk around or grab a bite to eat. Of course, this is if there is space available. There was nobody there when we dropped off the Jeep. I just locked my key inside the Jeep and left them a VM. Later that day, I got a final invoice with no additional charges. Just returned from another wonderful trip to St. John. We were fortunate to be able to work with Varlack Rentals once again. We have used them many years and have always found their product and their service exceptional. We receive attentive personal treatment and they even go out of their way to help us if we are delayed on arrival or have another particular need. Their prices are fair. Great staff! I recommend calling to see about availability. Had some issues getting through using the online rental request form. Once I had them on the phone, it was all too easy. Excellent Communication once I had them on the line. Pick up was simple and quick. The Jeep was clean and got us around all the public roads on the island without any problems.
