10/5 stars. Kenny and his team consistently deliver high-quality work at honest prices, but what truly sets them apart is their service. When my car broke down and was deemed undrivable, they were kind enough to let me keep it at the shop overnight, and the next day they dropped everything to help load it onto the tow truck. I give VAS my highest recommendation.
This was the first time Kenny and his team serviced my TDI Touareg. His estimate was reasonable, and he had great communication throughout the repair process. He took time to explain options, diagnosis, and work performed including sharing pictures and parts replaced. Friendly and fair, wouldn’t hesitate to recommend or return for future service.
If you own an Audi in San Francisco, stop searching - VAS Motor Works is the only place you need to go. I can't recommend Kenny and his team highly enough. From the moment you drop off your car, you realize you're dealing with genuine professionals who prioritize quality work and transparency. They are super communicative with everything they find, explaining the issues clearly and professionally before proceeding, which builds immediate and lasting trust. As long as I'm in SF this will be my go-to garage.
Owner of this shop, Kenny, is the man. He took my car in on short notice, explained everything he was doing or going to do along the way, hustled to find the replacement part locally, and got me my car back in under 48 hours. On top of it all, price was totally fair (I did my research on what it should cost), especially for a location in the center of town. You never want to have to take your car to the mechanic, but if you do, VAS is the place to go.
Kenny, Alvin, and the entire team at VAS Motor Works are phenomenal! Their professionalism, honesty, and deep knowledge of German cars truly set them apart.
