I had refractive lens exchange (RLE) surgery. The overall experience was excellent. All the staff were very friendly and efficient. Visits take a long time as there are many procedures to go through, but there were no unnecessary waiting periods. My only suggestion is that the Centre could have done better at setting expectations for changes to my sight after the surgery. That made it difficult to know what was normal recovery or not. Very friendly service and very little time in the waiting room. The dry eye sessions were a lot less painful than I anticipated. She was very good at describing what she was going to do and kept checking to see if I was okay. I have noticed a significant difference in my vision, and recommend the treatments to others.
From the very start after my doctor referred me to Vector Eye Centre I had consultations with the doctor and a follow-up plan pertaining to my specific situation. Both of my cataract operations went totally smoothly with 100% instructions what to do next. Every appointment was dealt with absolute proffessional attitude by all their staff and timely without lenthy waits. Dr. Bhamra and Dr. Harapiak saved my vision. I had a cataract replacement, due to having extreme astigmatism in my left eye, with another clinic and they inserted an incorrect lens into my eye. My vision was worse than when I went in for the surgery and I still had the extreme astigmatism. I had the good fortune to see Dr. Bhamra and he assured me that he could remove the incorrect lens, 9 months after my initial surgery, and lower my astigmatism to a moderate level.
