I’ve had a wonderful experience as an enrolled patient at Victoria Medical Centre. From the moment I walked in, the receptionists were friendly, professional, and efficient. I was especially impressed by the team leader, who wore a name badge, showing the level of care and attention he gives to his role and the team. Shocking customer service. Took me 5 hours to perform a pre work medical. The nurse failed me on my Spiro so I requested to resit and passed with flying colours. Put the blame on me for the failure. If you have done a Spiro you know it's a pain. Did not advise vaccinations for working overseas in a bad country. Failed to advise of suitable disease prevention for the same country. Late delivery of medical to my employer. Said I couldn't get bloods done anywhere due to strike, went up the road and found someone.
I recently visited Victoria clinic urgent care - Dr Umo for my daughter’s recurrent ear infection, and I couldn’t be happier with the care we received. The doctor was incredibly kind and patient, taking the time to thoroughly explain everything to us.Dr ordered an ear swab to ensure accurate treatment, which I really appreciated. Lovely staff, was seen quite quickly. However the doctor I saw was incompetent. Bearly spoke 10 words to me, didn't listen to what I was saying and referred me off to a specialist after bearly looking at my injury.
I have been going to this same medical centre for years as it's hard to change doctors in my area or I would have done it a long time ago. The doctors are rude unless you see the ones at urgent care which are lovely. I wouldn't recommend the general GP where you have to book an appointment. There's been times where my son has been unwell and when I've asked what he can or can't drink or eat I been told "it's up to him what he feels like". It seems they don't care.
