My uncle was under their care for less than 24 hours before he passed from his late stage cancer diagnosis. After he passed away, it took months to get that pre-payment of $6000 back, minus the day he spent there. I called numerous times with no action. After calling the corporate office in Illinois numerous times, I finally received the credit. Don't get me started on the Polaris pharmacy that Villa works with. I was impressed with the care my husband received during his five days of respite. Everyone was very friendly and in my opinion he received very good care.
Our experience at Villa By The Bay has been very positive and the continuing care provided for my father has been terrific over the past 2 plus months. The staff has been very helpful from the move in process and moving forward. The nursing staff is attentive to any needs and has been in communication with my wife or myself when necessary. It is a very pleasant place and the caregivers ,nurses, and the people who work there are so nice and caring. I feel my husband is getting super care and he is not easy, because he is in pain and does not understand so well!
My experience with the Villa at the Bay is quite positive. The facility is well cared for and clean. The staff is fantastic! They are under staffed, just like everywhere else, but they are pleasant and happy as they tend to their residents. The PT crew is very dedicated to getting their patients strong and self sufficient, safely. The culinary team does a very nice job providing nutritious meals.
