DR. Orechi seemed competent and efficient; however I found it was almost impossible to get someone to change an appointment. I was being referred to disconnected phone lines. Atrocious work done by reception. I scheduled an appointment, double checked and double documented on my end. When I got to reception I was treated like a fool, sent to a different department because she figured I didn't know what I was doing (I am a medical professional), and then ultimately was told that I had the option to wait a few hours to see someone, or to come back another time because they had no record of my appointment. What a terrible experience and first impression. Never have I met a Dr. with such horrendous bed side manner (Dr. Phang). Never did a evaluation or even asked a question. Was rude and rushing to get me out of there as fast as possible. Talked over me when asking a question or completely dismissed it. Being a patient living with chronic Lyme disease I’m used to being dismissed by conventional doctors, but this was one of the worst experiences ever. It’s clear what their priorities are.....Money. I am a patient of Dr Raspasarda who I can say I have complete respect and confidence in. He and his staff are very courteous and professional.The first time I saw Dr Raspasarda he spent close to about an hour with me , explaining my condition completely and did a through exam. I live two in a half hrs away, and have no problem driving that distance to see him. Dr Raspasarda is always accommodating with my appts / tests due to length of Drive.
I was referred to this practice by an emergency room doctor. When I called to schedule my 'urgent appointment' as instructed by my discharge papers, I had probably the worst customer service experience of my life with the scheduler. Not only was she rude, she implored that my condition should be handled by a primary care physician, and went on to tell me, "If you really needed to see a specialist, you would've been seen by one in the ER."
