HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! I called Vinton Vet on Thursday afternoon about my Cookie's eyes. In the a.m. it was just one eye but by afternoon it was both. The staff at the office were very helpfully and told me to get her there asap. There was a parking lot full of cars when we got there but the wait time was not very long. The staff came to my car to get Cookie. Then after her exam Dr McBane called to give me info and make recommendations. This was a rarely seen set of symptoms so she wanted to consult with vet ophthalmologist. I... read more

I could not ask for a more caring, attentive, compassionate vet for my pup than Dr. McBane. She has a vested interest in making sure all options are explored and no leaf is left unturned. Her willingness to listen and responsiveness have made navigating canine illness so much smoother than I think even human illness. She loves my girl like I do and for that I am so thankful. Lily and I love Dr. McBane!

From the first phone call to make Ace's appointment, to changing the appointment date, and the experience of our first appointment, I am super impressed with Vinton Veterinary Hospital. everyone person I spoke to listened to me and my concerns about my dog and our previous vet. definitely am happy I decided to keep our appointment and will continue going there.
