Whoever was staffed at the front desk on 6/11/2026 @ 9:44AM wasn't very professional, in my humble opinion. She sounded like she didn't want to be at work, and whether she knows it or not, that bleeds through her tone over the phone. Make sure you pay attention to what the people leaving 1 star are saying because I wish I would have before picking this office. I wonder why some people are treated in a way that makes them want to leave 5 stars while others are being treated so poorly. The office environment is okay, not overly welcoming but not terrible either. The receptionists aren’t rude per se but also don’t make you feel comfortable. Amazing experience, amazing customer service. The staff was friendly, very informative, polite, and professional. The dentist was an absolute breath of fresh air after going to a previous dental office. I had a terrible experience. He explained everything to me. He worked with me and he was able to save my tooth and make sure that my smile was amazing in the future 10 out of 10 recommend for anybody.

I called this morning for the first time ans ask person do they accept Medicaid for adults and she explained that they just don't make an appointment for new patients to get a cleaning I understand that she repeated twice the same thing. I understand its a process, but when you are working with the public you have yo have top tier customer service. If you are nervous or afraid of the dentist like I am then I highly recommend going to Virginia Beach Family Dental. I love this place everyone from the front desk, dental assistants, and the Dentist make you feel so comfortable. From the time you walk through the doors the staff here make you feel so welcomed. Diane from the front desk did it for me just our initial telephone conversation reassured me that I made the right decision choosing this practice!
