So, my husband made an appointment with this business for us. Almost everyday they called when they had a customer cancelled for us to come. We informed them that the date we had was fine with us. Nonetheless, they called another time and we didn’t pick up. Fast forward to a month after scheduling our appointment. I am currently waiting for the dentist to call because the receptionist are very mean. The day of my first appointment I was potentially going to be late because of a train I live in Ward’s corner. I called to notify them that I might be a few minutes late, and they told me that they were canceling my appointment. Hands down such an incredible experience. I didn’t take care of my teeth for most of my 20s so cosmetic wise I am very embarrassed. Not once did anybody there point out a specific tooth that has serious issue. They used codes which made me feel more comfortable. I explained how I get the anxiety but when it comes to dentist and they agreed to help ease that anxiety. *** 12/14/25: Edited this review to challenge their lies. It's important to challenge lying businesses and staff. *** In advance of my appointment, I was never told that there would be two separate visits prior to a cleaning. I was only told that there would be one. After I completed my exam, they asked me to come back for another exam/visit. That was a shock. I called at least 20 different dentistries in the area trying to find a place that accepts my insurance. Finally one of the places I called recommended Virginia Family Dental to me. The receptionist who scheduled my appointment was very nice and was able to get me in the following month and I was really happy to finally find a place that not only accepts my insurance, but could get me in within the year (yes, YEAR!
