I wanted to schedule two new patient appointments at the Hanover location. On VEI's website, the number listed for 'call now' was for the Reynolds Crossing location. I did not find a phone number listed for the Hanover office on the location page of their website. I chose to call the Reynolds Crossing office for more information. In my 73 years of life, I have experienced a half dozen hospitals and about as many ambulatory care facilities. In those instances there was only one experience that I would rate as negative. But my surgery at the VEI surgery was by and far the most positive care experience I have ever had. My thanks to the entire staff but especially to Dr. Christopher Estopinal. Well done!

Be careful with your insurance. I was told multiple times before my appointment my insurance was verified. I was clear about what insurance I have and when asked if I had X, I was clear that I did not have X I have Y. Then I have my appointment and they tell me they found me under a different insurance X which I do not have. Again, I was clear prior and during my appointment that I did not have that insurance. I was then told that my insurance the sometimes comes up as X even though it is Y. Now I get a bill for $240. At no... read more

Marcus is phenomenal! In my 70+ years of receiving corneal care he is the best tech I have encountered both from a technical perspective and from his interpersonal skills. He is truly a star in VEI’s galaxy!

Good luck ever making an appointment. I called to try to set one up and the first time, I waited 10 minutes before talking to a receptionist who said they needed a call back number to call me back. They never did. The next day, I called once and waited on hold for 15 minutes before hanging up, called a second time and waited on hold for 10 minutes, then called a third time and waited on hold for 10 minutes before I talked to someone who said they needed a callback number to call me back.
