Highly recommend Cafe Italia to anyone who is in the Grapevine area. The food is excellent and the service is top notch! What other restaurant has the owner go around and performs head-scratching magic tricks? We been three times now and will continue to go when in the area.

We've enjoyed Cafe Italia's cuisine for a couple of years now, always taking it to go. My favorite dish is manicotti -- stuffed with ricotta cheese and Italian seasonings over marinara sauce -- which tastes better here than at other Italian restaurants in the DFW area. The combination of tomato sauce and rich cheese is delightful. The dinner salad accompanying the main course was also a treat for the pallet -- especially because of the tomato vinaigrette dressing. I found this place for a work dinner and I was not disappointed!! The food was delicious and was a very generous portion! The staff were very friendly and attentive (my drink kept being refilled which was awesome). We were even surprised when one of the waiters came and did magic!! Highly recommend this place and we still don't know how the lemons got in the cup!!
Talk about a hidden gem, this place is an a strip mall and looks unassuming from the outside. When you get inside, you find a crowded restaurant that is far larger than you would assume. It has traditional Italian restaurant decor but don't be fooled by the seemingly modest appearance. The food is amazing, and very affordable. We enjoyed it! This was our first time here. We got here about 5 PM on a Tuesday. Only a few tables had been seated by the time we got here. An hour later, the place was fairly filled up. Bread and water was served immediately. This place is BYOB which is nice. We brought a bottle of wine and it was opened for us as soon as they saw the bottle. The wait staff here is very attentive.
