Vonderheide Floor Covering was founded by Henry Vonderheide in 1947. Henry started the floor covering business after working for someone & installing linoleum. From day one, Henry took pride in his workmanship, Henry’s son Dale also began to take interest which allowed Henry to expand his work with his wife Thada in the showroom. We replaced our carpeting and hardwood flooring in our living room dining room kitchen hallway foyer and laindry/mudroom. We chose the Mowhawk Silverscreen Luxury Waterproof Vinyl. Love it, it makes the house brighter and more durable flooring for pets allergies and high traffic. Paul & Jack the contractors did an EXCELLENT job. Professional hardworking and efficient. Excellent company. Tera and Jake worked above and beyond to find custom tile that fit what we were looking for and got us a good price on it straight from the manufacturer. We have always bought our flooring from Vonderheide’s and have been extremely happy. We recently had a water issue in our lower level and had to to replace our flooring. Bill came and laid the vinyl and he did a beautiful job. It literally brought tears to my eyes because it looked so good. Beware....We have used Vonderheide previously for hardwood and decided to use them again for more hardwood. We spent over $6000 on a Mohawk product, which they highly recommended. The product itself is very nice. As every installer recommends, we purchased extra flooring to allow for damaged product, installer error, etc. We have 3 unopened boxes worth about $350 to return. Terrible experience this time around working with Taylor on our floors. We have worked with Crystal on 3 other bedrooms in our house with zero problems. The amount of trips and phone calls were ridiculous.
Very disappointed in installation of laminate flooring. Had several issues but having to fix gap in kitchen so water would not run under flooring was too much. Very disappointed!
