The cost for a technician to put super glue in a $20k espresso machine will run you about $351. The technician told our manager he would order the necessary part and return to fix it, I am confident in her competency to remember these simple details. Scheduled service with VP to repair our machine and was provided a window of time the tech would arrive (this was a reschedule from a previous appointment). The tech was a no-show, no call. We are taking our business elsewhere because we cannot afford the negative impact this has on our coffee business. We cannot operate without working machines!
I can no longer support this company. I used to own two coffee shops and spent many, man thousands of dollars with VP coffee, both for service and upfit for a new location. Service and quality was tremendous. They used to be locally owned and managed. They have since been bought out and their customer service and technical service quality has greatly diminished. These guys are great! We had a coffee maker go down at my coffee shop last week and they showed up within 48 hours, diagnosed the problem, and had everything running within 3 days. It's tough to get help in the service industry in a timely fashion and find people that really know the machines. These guys know what they are doing, move quickly, and have very fair pricing. Thanks fellas!
