I have lived at Vue De Lac for 6 months now. From the start, Vue De Lac Apartment Manager, Lyn, has been attentive, informative, and timely. Due to my primary residence being in Grass Valley, CA, I had a very specific need for weekend appointments only. Lyn accommodated my every need by scheduling apartment viewings, contract signing, and initial walk-through on weekends according to my schedule. I have been staying in Vue De Lac Apartments for more than 3 months. My experience has been nothing less than pleasant. Lyn is super prompt in responding to issues, queries, and maintenance requests. The resolution turn around time is also remarkable.
I lived at Vue de Lac for 5 years, and have had a good experience (at a very reasonable rent). Proximity to Lake Merritt, supermarket, pharmacy are all huge advantages. Neighbors are all nice and decent. The building is 100 years old, and walls are thin, so that's something to keep in mind. Lastly, the new manager, Lyn, is a gem and a professional--there has probably never been a better time to move to VDL!!!
The manager, Lyn, is very unprofessional. I tried to set up an appointment to view apartments, and she was very rude and short with me via text message. Then when I went to view the place, she never even showed up. I guess I dodged a bullet, because I wouldn't want someone like that managing my housing.
