Washington radiology, in Hagerstown, is a great place to have any diagnostic work done, such as at MRI or cat scan, as well as other imaging services. The staff work in a timely manner. They are very efficient and kind. The technicians giving the tests explain what they are doing to you and how long it will take. They do their best to make you comfortable within reason. This place is very INEFFICIENT! Having tried to schedule an MRI since July 20, 2026 and now it is Aug. 6, 2026. I sent all my information 4 times. Then finally having an appointment to be told I was late! The scheduler informed me of the appointment time. Reminders informed me of the appointment time, I was there at the appointment time. Only to be told very rudely and unfriendly I was late and have to reschedule. I told the rude receptionist there were other MRI facilities in Hagerstown. I've been to WRA in Germantown and now in Hagerstown. I must say, while efficient, personable, and on time, the Hagerstown location needs some TLC to the facility itself. The appearance of the office, tech rooms is just not welcome and inviting. You can really tell "We are not in Kansas anymore" because it is hard-core looking.

I recently contacted Washington Radiology – Hagerstown, Trilogy II to schedule multiple MRIs. While most medical offices understand that insurance coverage can treat multiple MRIs as a single event, this office strictly adheres to a policy that limits the number of MRIs per day. I explained that my insurance considers multiple MRIs on the same day as a single event, but the manager would not make an exception. Got MRI in March 2024. Paid what I owed. They have billed my insurance 3 times for this service. They got paid by my insurance, then send me a bill January 2026 saying I owe the whole amount. Nowhere on the bill does it show what I paid or what my insurance paid. Follow up: Receive call from the company and the issue was resolved and was handled very professionally. Updated review
