We have used Watermark twice. The first time was a better experience. We went with them again, but this time I was frustrated with a few things thus lowering my rating. They quoted no cost over the phone, but it actually cost us a few hundred dollars to close. They made a few typos in the paperwork that made us believe we could borrow more money, when we couldn't. I've worked with Watermark for both a new purchase and home refinance. Both times I worked with Nannette Kazan who was amazingly patient with my barrage of questions and constant nagging about the numbers. Worked with Jennifer on refinancing my mortgage from FHA to conventional. Process went very smooth from inquiry on through to mortgage processing. Was able to close the refinance in just over a month. Communication was excellent and answered all my questions. Having their own underwriters in-house was a plus, they moved fast. Quick response and I got the rate and deal that was advertised. The mortgage broker was easy to work with. The process was relatively painless, although it took a little longer than I thought it would (~ 2 months from initial contact).

I worked with Casey Lamm from Watermark Home Loans for my last two refinances. Casey has been by far the best loan broker I have ever worked with. He and his team are extremely knowledgeable, efficient, and understand the process so well that it cuts down on Customer rework of documents and I have always gotten the best rates. I will be sending all of my friends his way.

Casey took the information we provided, prepared the appropriate loan documents needed. He guided us through the entire process with a minimum of hassle and unnecessary work on our part. The refinance was completed within the 30-day window promised, with NO follow-up questions from the underwriters.
