I'm not one for surveys or reviews but I feel it's critical that I do so, especially in the times we are in. HATS off to Dr. Shapiro and Dr. DeRubie. These two remember where they came from and are true to the oath they took when they became doctors. All the traits they you would want in a doctor Compassion, empathy and kindness just to name a few are definitely present. A huge part of communicating effectively is being a good listener. I understand our doctor shortage in Victoria, but as a patient trying to navigate taking care of my health this clinic is beyond difficult to deal with. The front desk woman goes out of her way to be combative and excessively rude. If it’s the clinic policy to only book a week at a time I can understand that, but what is the ownership of this company doing in order to ensure it’s providing the care it is meant to for its patients? For weeks at a time to you are unable to see any doctor - results in? Nope no appts available... read more

I really love this Clinic and my Doctor is very good. plus Walmart Superstore is right next door to fill prescriptions for me it's a really grand place I always feel welcome At UPTOWN MALL VICTORIA BC VANCOUVER ISLAND O CANADA 🇨🇦 😀 Y'all

HOW DO I GET A HOLD OF THEM?? I am a patient at this clinic trying to book an appointment for a refill of medication I desperately need. I have called 10 times today and each time I've gotten either a dial tone or a message that reads "the customer you've dialed is currently unavailable". Literally just pick up the phone???

This is not the first time I’ve had a bad experience here sadly, this time the receptionist was lovely unlike last time but the doctor I saw for a personal issue almost left me in tears, told me he basically can’t help me, spoke over me the entire time and didn’t even examine me. Fast forward - I saw another doctor shortly after for the same reason and he said of course he can help, went above and beyond, LISTENED and got me the referral I didn’t think was possible after being at the uptown clinic.
