What a joke. My groomer was unable to express my dogs anal glands because they were compacted. So I called the vet clinic to get my dog in to get expressed (which I’ve done before). They scheduled me FOR ANAL GLADS ONLY and when the day came and I drove all the way there they told me my dog was scheduled for a wellness exam and expression. My dog doesn’t need a wellness exam, all his vaccines are up to date. They’re just wanting to charge an extra $75 for the exam that I don’t want and my dog doesn’t need. It is our policy to ensure that vaccinations are up to date on patients, as well as an examination, especially considering completing anal gland expressions are a medical service that we offer. At time of check-in, we did not have documents provided and our staff does complete reminder calls reviewing appointment times with which doctor patients will be seeing. they were very frustrating to work with, and I found a way better place and better vet that can work with me and I can work with too. they don't know how to keep things organized on paper work. and they sure never called me about my dog updated shots when she needed them. I had to find out from my new vet and I never got one call from them and that was last year. very disappointed with then. vca jordan river is the best.

I had been taking my dogs here for over 25 yrs. I had a shih tzu when I started. I never had a problem getting her in clear up to the end. I had 2 litter mates next. I had a hard time getting appointments. I had to put one of them down 4rs ago. Had a hard time getting appointment. You can’t plan on when your dog gets sick to wait weeks for appointment. We have a very sick animal who will mostly likely need to be put down. Instead of working to get us in, they said they can't see us for 10 days. That's terrible! We've been going there for 10 years and they want to refer us to somewhere else for this most sensitive time. Take your animals some place that will care. They are not with it! Your animals deserve more.
I just called to try and get my dog looked at because he wont quit licking himself and is very uncomfortable, all I got from the receptionist was we are booked for the day and won't have any appointments available until December, like screw you too animal azzholes this is why we dropped your service to begin with.
I had an appointment at 2 PM. I followed what they said to do to check in then proceeded to wait in the car for an hour and 15 minutes in 105° weather with a double coded dog and a 1 1/2 year-old. There were three people that showed up after me go in with their pets and backed out. Four people with medication go in and back out. I have been going to animal crackers since the 1980s. I love the doctors and they were very reasonably priced. I haven’t been in about six years because I am lost my dog that I had six years ago but I inherited my dad‘s dog when he passed away. I went there yesterday to find out about my dogs abscess tooth I could not believe that they wanted $1100 to pull a tooth. While our experience with the staff at Animal Crackers is good, do NOT get your pet cremated through here. I don't remember the name of the company they partner with, but they spelled our cat's name wrong on her cremation box. Her name was correct on our receipt so it's their mistake. They sent for another one to be made and the second one we received was a generic box, 75% shabbier than the first misspelled box. I’m in shock....my New Year began with me sitting in my recliner holding my dog Boo for 2 hours while he passed away. What happened? Yesterday around noon, he began panting and breathing with difficulty.
