I have dachshunds & have been going to this clinic for over 10 yrs. With common back problems the Dr. used to say..."just call in & I'll prescribe the meds...don't waste your time & $$$" unless absolutely necessary. For this reason, I loved Animal Crackers...but today I called & was told my dog HAD to be seen before any meds could be prescribed AND she can't be seen until March 21st!!! Today is the 9th...Really???

NEVER COME HERE! They EASILY could have killed our Puppy!!!!!!!!!!!!! We went here for the first time with our 5 month old Pugshire in September of this yr. Since we got out puppy at 5 months old, we were told he needed to start over on all his shots. so we got the first round, then were told by the vet that we needed to come back in 2 months to get his booster shots. As we were leaving that day, On our paperwork we noticed that they didn't list he needed the booster and when it would be scheduled. We didn't think much of it... read more

Business response:

Hi Whitni, thank you for your feedback. Our practice manager has reached out offline to address your concerns. We are truly sorry for your experience and want you to know we are working internally to ensure this does not happen again. Our main concern is to make sure that Chester is taken care of and receives the veterinary care he needs, so we would greatly appreciate you giving us a call back at your convenience.

This place is an absolute joke. My dog was attacked and this was the closest vet to me. When I went in to get help I was told to wait and then told they didn't have a vet there and referred somewhere else.

Business response:

Hi Ryan, we are sorry that we were unable to help during your pet’s emergency. While our hospital is not set up to take emergency clients, we try and help out if we have a doctor available. Unfortunately, when you brought your pup to our hospital, our veterinarians were in surgery and unable to assist. We will always act in the best interest of a pet and in this case, the best thing to do was to refer you to a hospital nearby that accepts walk-in emergencies so that your companion could be cared for right away. We apologize ... read more

The prices are astronomical, for a spay it is $120+ dollars. In addition to that, there is a $21 clinic fee that is prerequisite for the spay. The humane society's price is $68 and the price for Utah spay and neuter clinic is $58 for a 20lb dog. That's not the only problem I had with this company. I first went on your website. There is an option to chat live; I chose that option. I first got Kathy, I asked her for the cost of a spay and vaccines, she said she could have a tech. email me. A few hours later no email. I chose t... read more

We went to Animal crackers for years and loved them! We only switched vets because we moved and our sick dog needed to be seen twice a week and the drive was too hard. We switched 8 months ago. We just had to call them for our other dog, needing her records on vaccinations and the lady on the phone was extremely rude and unprofessional. She stated we were inactive patients and refused to give us the information. After being a customer of yours for years and being treated this way, we will never come back.

Times have changed. Snarky rude remarks from staff are valued more than DECADES of loyalty. Two weeks after sending a fur baby to heaven, they still haven't bothered sending a card. There are staff I will miss, but as a customer, (you know the source of payroll) I will not be treated this way.
