I spent 4 months at Westwind, and my experience there was absolutely amazing. From the moment I walked in, I felt supported, respected, and truly cared for. I had the most amazing experience at Westwind. I did not want to come to treatment, but after starting there, knew I wanted to stay. Everything from housing to the program was amazing. I stayed at the Maryland house for women which I highly recommend. The house managers are so personable and the house is clean. The IOP is full of the best staff you will find!! I would like to express my opinion regarding West Wind Recovery. My son who is in addiction recovery was at West Wind Fuller House in their PHP program. He was accepted while he had insurance. When his insurance ran out they did get him a scholarship to remain there for an extended time. My problem with them is that without giving him any notice, when the scholarship ran out he was told he had to leave immediately, they needed his bed. Best facility in Los Angeles, reputable 5 star services, therapy and counseling. Professional medical department. If you want a truly high end treatment center that stands out compared to other facilities in regard to quality care, Westwind is where you want to go. And their clinical staff is incredible. 10 stars for Jennifer the most amazing, empathic and caring person in the world who has a passion for helping others and will go the extra mile to support anyone in recovery.
I regret to share my troubling experience with West Wind Recovery Center, which I feel compelled to bring to light due to the unethical practices, lack of transparency, unprofessionalism and racism I encountered during my stay. I felt that the center was more concerned with financial gain than the well-being and recovery of its clients.
