From the moment I was picked up by Robin until I had my exit interview with Sean, the program manager, I was cared with individualized attention and respect. I spent 4 months at Westwind, and my experience there was absolutely amazing. From the moment I walked in, I felt supported, respected, and truly cared for. The staff is incredibly compassionate, knowledgeable, and professional, going above and beyond to make sure every individual gets the care they need. Do not send your family member here if you want them to find recovery. Highly unprofessional staff. Very dangerous environment filled with individuals who prey on people at their most vulnerable. I repeat DO NOT send your family member here if you want them to recover. One of the worst experiences of my life. Don’t get me started on the insurance fraud. Patients are simply a number. They also give patients discounts for a good google review.

I have been to A LOT of treatment centers - good, bad, mediocre. It's not something I necessarily advertise as an accomplishment, but I do think it qualifies this review. Believe me when I say, Westwind is perhaps the best Intensive Outpatient (IOP) program I have every completed. It's well-organized, the groups are interactive, and the people truly care.
