Someone was supposed to come out and give us an estimate on a new roof for part of our house. When they first arrived, they introduced themselves and then proceeded to make small talk for the next half hour. When they asked us why they were there and we told them it was to get the roof estimate, they proceeded to tell us that they are part of a program that uses their work on people's houses as advertisement instead of billboards etc. Ok, cool. We agreed to get a couple windows quoted to be replaced, a bay window (4 glass panels) in the front of the house, and a utility window in the laundry room. The salesman was 15 minutes late for the scheduled appointment. No call or text to let us know he’d be late, we started to wonder if they would even show up.
