I visited your premises on 05/05/2026 after 11:00 AM to purchase engine oil and was initially greeted politely by reception staff. I was shown a bottle clearly labelled at £13. However, when I proceeded to pay, I was told the price was £15. I questioned this discrepancy, as the displayed price on the product was £13. Terrible at bicycle repairs. I've had to use this place twice for bike repairs, both times they did a shoddy job and another bike shop had to fix their work for me. The first time two of my gears were constantly cracking to the point of being unusable. I bring it in for a service and specifically mention those two gears cracking as the main problem I need fixed. They take my money, but when I get my bike back immediately I can feel those gears are still cracking as bad as before. I bring it back and get fobbed off with "oh ... read more
I didn’t get the guys name who helped me today, but to the guy with the Bobby hat on, THANK YOU! The whole team at wilcos today have absolutely made my day! They were so willing to help me and absolutely lovely in every way. I will definitely be a returning customer and recommending you to all my friends and family!
Definitely ripped off. Went to get new number plates. Charged for the 2 plates (fair enough- this is what I came for). The. charged for a full roll of double sided tape (£6.99), the guy used 2 strips of said roll despite half of the new plates having already been covered in tape that was already opened and behind the desk (felt like a mid thought to make more money). Then not actually being given the roll of tape to come away with. Then being charged £8 for the fitting.
I like Wilco. Staff at the Swinton branch are very friendly and the mechanics are great. They are my 'go-to' place for my servicing and repair.
